Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and the article contents do not reflect the cited and other available sources (eg, the subject's disputed status as the Shankaracharya of Jyotir math). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Abecedare (talk) 04:56, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
- Than ks Sir for your humble guidance.Sir can you please help me in improving this draft. Takarsinh (talk) 05:15, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there! You can improve an existing draft of the same topic. It is currently under review and may be accepted soon. I encourage you to do so because if you put your created draft under review, it will certainly be declined as a duplicate submission. ToadetteEdit (talk) 08:17, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Yash Shah (Yogi)
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Yash Shah (Yogi) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CycloneYoris talk! 10:07, 14 April 2025 (UTC)

The article Yash Shah (cricketer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence of notability, promising youth player but no further career info (on ESPN or Wisden).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 12:52, 14 April 2025 (UTC)

The page Draft:Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done for the following reason:
duplicate repeatedly recreated promotional draft; see discussion
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - Though the draft has been deleted, as ToadetteEdit above, you can work on developing the the existing draft at Draft:Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, if you wish. Please be aware of wikipedia's content policies on verifiability and neutral POV especially as they concern biographies of living persons. Also, if you have any conflict of interest with respect to this subject, or any other article you edit, you should disclose them. I'll also drop you a note about the special rules that are applicable to edits related to South Asia. Abecedare (talk) 18:13, 14 April 2025 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

AfC reviewing
[edit]Hi there. You're not an AfC reviewer, so it's not appropriate for you to be accepting AfC submissions. It's especially inappropriate for you to be leaving AfC acceptance notices on other editors' talk pages, like at Special:Diff/1285542928. Please don't do that again. -- asilvering (talk) 04:06, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
